Who We Are

Young College Mothers Corp., founded in April 2021, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting college mothers by providing essential resources, opportunities, and services throughout their educational journey.

Our mission is to empower, uplift, and create lasting change—because when mothers succeed, families and communities thrive. One of our key initiatives is our annual $1,000 scholarship, designed to help with educational and living expenses such as textbooks, supplies, housing, transportation, and childcare. For many student mothers, the cost of living far exceeds tuition, making it difficult to balance education, work, and parenting.

Beyond financial assistance, we are committed to community outreach and addressing food insecurity, ensuring that student mothers and their families have the support they need to succeed.
